What is the Rütte-Forum?
The Rütte-Forum offers an extensive program with courses in psychotherapy, self-exploration and training in the field of Initiation Therapy according to Dürckheim, in psychotherapy based ond depth psychology, and in Transpersonal Psychology/Psychotherapy.
The center has been in existence since 1983. It had been part of Exist-Rütte and became independent in 1992.
The different media and spiritual exercises of Initiation Therapy such as Initiation Bodywork, Guided Drawing, creative working with clay, movement and voice, dream work, discussion, dance improvisation, Aikido, Za-Zen etc. are being offered either in form of individual lessons or in daily groups or workshops. Work devotion and service in everyday life are also paid attention to.
Being based on depth psychology, Initiation Therapy does not only comprise psychotherapy in the conventional sense but also guidance on the spiritual path. By initiation, individuation, experience, and transformation it seeks to help people open up to their inner being and gain a more lasting relation to immanent transcendence.
The cleansing of the unconscious is a major goal. This is worked at by examining and working through biographic influences, traumatic events, archetypal patterns, and carmic conditions.
The Forum is attended partly by trainees, partly by seekers for meaning and persons on the spiritual path, and to some extent by people who are in a (spiritual) crisis and look for guidance.
Moreover, by organizing workshops and conferences and by means of publications the Forum wants to offer an opportunity for dialogue and encounter between representatives of other transpersonal
psychotherapies.
